As of May 2025, the system supports contactless smart cards and mobile app payments, allowing users to tap and go across buses, rail, and integrated cycling services. Fares are structured to be equitable, with discounts for students, seniors, and low-income residents, aligning with eThekwini’s inclusive mobility goals. A single ticket can be used across multiple modes of transport, reducing the need for multiple payments.
