GO!Durban
The People Mover is a tourist-oriented bus service in Durban, operating since 2009 with a focus on safety, comfort, and reliability. It connects the central business district and beachfront, stopping at key attractions like City Hall, the Playhouse Theatre, and uShaka Marine World. With air-conditioned buses running every 15 minutes from 05:00 to 22:00, it’s perfect for exploring Durban. As of May 21, 2025, the service continues to offer wheelchair access and security via onboard cameras and wardens at stops.
The People Mover uses the MUVO payment system, a cashless smartcard launched in 2012 for Durban’s bus services, including Durban Transport and Mynah buses. Load trips or cash onto your MUVO Card at PayPoints or MUVO Smart Vans, then tap to pay on the bus. Concession cards are available for seniors, scholars, and people with disabilities.
