Delivering modern, eco-friendly vehicles for Durban’s transport network.
Different fleet types are allocated to various services within the Integrated Public Transport Network based on passenger demand models. These fleet types include articulated buses, rigid buses, midi-buses, mini-bus taxis, specialised vehicles, trains, light-motor vehicles and non-motorised transport.
Advancements to the fleet include specialised ramps, wider doors, priority seating, accessible buzzer facilities, voice prompts and passenger information, colour-coded safety handles and symbols and branding of the different services.
